The 2019 COA Elementary League was a huge success for young athletes across the Wabash Valley

The 2019 Elementary League hosted by Crossroads of America Volleyball Club (COA) has come to an end.  Thanks to all the athletes, parents, volunteers, and COA coaches who helped make this year a huge success.  For 2019, we had almost 170 girls participate and ended up fielding 20 teams with girls from elementary schools all across the Wabash Valley!

The girls worked hard all season and quickly picked up on the guidance provided by our experienced league directors and reinforced by our volunteer coaches.  We saw many girls achieve lots of volleyball firsts during this years league (first serve over the net, first pass over the net, first volleyball win, first serves from behind the end line, and more!).  We also saw a lot of improvement and development of volleyball fundamentals from our returning players.

The season ended yesterday with a single-elimination tournament.  Congratulations to this years elementary league champions from Jackson Township and Staunton Elementary!  Second place went to the team from Riley Elementary while the team from Ernie Pyle, Van Duyn, Central and Marshall Elementary Schools secured 3rd place.

While the season is at an end, the volleyball opportunities aren't over.  Please see our website for information about fall clinics or registration options for some of COA's travel volleyball teams that are coming up soon!  Also, please make sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter for up-to-date news and events.

Thanks again everyone. We hope to see you all on the courts soon!
